Moving  internationally was intimidating and one of the scariest things that I have ever done but also one of the most rewarding. It really set me up in my career as a teacher. I learned so much about teaching English and behavioural management. I’ve been able to work in such diverse situations where I have really adapted and learned so many skills. Way beyond what my practicums ever taught me. The community that I was able to find in London with the help from Aureila was life changing. I was able to meet so many like minded people who view education the same way as me.

Teaching in London was a big adjustment but it’s given me fantastic behaviour and management skills which I have been able to adapt to the Canadian classroom. The curriculum in the Uk is amazing and very advanced. It gave me the opportunity to understand my speciality in English and set me up in a way that made me understand the curriculum and dedicated itself to make sure that the students were learning the essential English skills.
