When Aurelia came to my university last year, I was so excited as I had always wanted to teach abroad. I chose Aurelia because after their presentation, I knew they would help me with every step. Aurelia assisted in my visa process, including all of the other documents I needed, as well as regular check-ins to see how I felt about the process and if I needed anything. When it came to finding the school that fit what I wanted, they listened and made sure that I would only interview at schools that met my needs and wants. They also helped me find the perfect flat near my school. I knew I didn't want a complete change from Cape Breton to a big city. Now I am teaching at a school in a small community, which is only a 10-minute train ride to the nearest city, and an hour train ride to London! 
Aurelia has helped me settle in by connecting me with the other Canadian teachers who are teaching at my school. Now we are like a second family. Whether it's exploring the city, sitting down for a meal together, or going to the pub after work on Fridays, I couldn't be happier with the supportive group that has formed.
