If I had told my younger self that I would one day be teaching on the Isle of Wight he probably would have believed me since I was a gullible kid. What remains true however is that I would not have had the courage to undertake the effort without the help of Aurelia.

The comfort and stability that they provided during the moving process was irreplaceable. From helping me get my Visa, viewing potential flats, and getting me in contact with fellow wayward teachers to commiserate with. I cannot claim that teaching in England has been painless. There are days where it can feel insurmountable, yet the fact remains that I have had one of the most positive experiences of my life here. I have met people I consider to be fast friends, settled into a community that has welcomed me with open arms, and ventured far beyond my expectations. None of this would have been possible without the advice, encouragement, and warmth provided by the Aurelia team.

I have decided to stay at my current school in no small part due to the efforts Aurelia goes through to find the perfect place for each of their candidates. I do not know where life will take me in the years to come, but I do know that I will cherish my tenure with Aurelia for the rest of my life.
