Chelsea Marr - Transition and Support Coordinator

Chelsea was born and raised in Brantford, Ontario. She is a Wilfrid Laurier Graduate focusing on History, English and Religion.

Her UK adventure began in Scotland where she attended teachers college to become a Secondary Teacher. Along the way Chelsea came across Aurelia Education and knew it was a fit! She went on to teach a range of subjects in Northern England post graduation before deciding to head South to teach in London.  Focusing on Religious Studies and History, Chelsea was a contributing factor in her school’s very high GCSE results in Religious Studies (making both Aurelia and Chelsea very proud!).

Chelsea’s role within the Aurelia family is diverse thanks to her experience of living in the North and South of England, and obtaining her teaching qualification in Scotland. She enjoys getting to know each new teacher and supporting them in order to make their transition smooth. Chelsea now plays a large role in assisting new Aurelia teachers to ensure all of their needs are met.

Outside of teaching, Chelsea has been able to travel to many different places, with her top destinations being Lanzarote and Morocco. She enjoys going out for dinner and drinks with friends, petting her furry flatmate Chewie, and is always up for an adventure!
